I am an applied economist interested in conducting research in environmental economics. I am passionate about the relationship between human beings and the natural environment. My recent research focuses on how climate shocks affect agriculture and farmers' livelihoods and the effects of public policies.

From an economist's perspective, my research explores sustainable economic development using diverse methodologies, including quasi-experimental designs, randomized control trials, and machine learning.

I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University in 2022 and spent 2.5 years working in the AI and machine learning industry. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Social Science Division at New York University Abu Dhabi.
